I’m looking to find a training provider who could offer an apprenticeship scheme for general operatives and industrial sewing machinist roles. So far, I’ve been able to find welding/metal work apprenticeships and fashion & textile providers, but these don’t seem to fit the roles in the business.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated

    Hi Chris,

I’ve posted this on Linkedin and these were the responses:

“It’s potentially the Fashion & Textile Apprenticeship you need, depends on what part of the country you are looking in. Let me know if you need any further help or alternatively our phone line will help 08000 150 600 or http://www.sfacontactforms.azurewebsites.net/employer-enquiry

This phone line is a good first port of call if you haven’t tried it already.

And someone else has said “Try Barnsley College 01226 216166”.

However I notice you’re in Melton Mowbray, so I’ve replied asking if they deliver in your area.

I can do more exploration if these both draw a blank.

    Thanks,
    Sophie

Alex Gates at ATG Training says “we use a Manufacturing Operations programme to accredit this type of skillset. If you’d like more details, please call us on 0845 8738440”.
